DEER VALLEY RETREAT

Our team partnered with Mariani Construction on this two-year-long complete renovation. As the main focal point in the home, we redesigned the stairs with solid Oak treads and a glass-and-metal railing that feels substantial but not too heavy. Our clients desired a bunk room, so we reconfigured the H-VAC equipment to make space for a bunk room that holds four queen-sized beds. The adjacent bath features a beautiful cobalt blue fireclay tile. 

Throughout the home, we mixed natural materials like marble and travertine with subtle - yet luxurious – moments like a dovetail detail on the corners of the kitchen island. The home featured an original knotty cedar ceiling and soffit, which we incorporated into the final design.
